THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Medical Devices organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
The client is developing a lot of new technologies in the field of software and applications, focusing on eye diagnosis solutions. For the further growth of the company they are looking for a strong C++ developer.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Software Developer you are result oriented and have a very good understanding of the development process. You can develop new applications from scratch but are also good in bug fixing and improvement of existing software. Your knowledge of C++ is excellent, and Design Patterns and multi-threading aren't unfamiliar for you. You will work together with the development team and will report to the R&D Director. They work with the Agile methodology Scrum to have a day to day overview of the new development steps that are made.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the development process of an assigned project, be part of the team
- Design features, propose improvements and perform bug fixes over existing and new products
- Take a mentor role for the junior developers, help them when needed
- Documentation of all implemented code
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills in English
- 7+ years' experience in software development in C++
- Working experience with OO, Design Patterns
- Working experience with Agile/ Scrum is preferred
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, Qt is a strong plus
