THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Healthcare organization, based in Flandre Orientale Belgium.
The company is making software solutions for clinical research organisations. For their development team they are looking for experienced software developers who like to make a difference in a healthcare environment.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As senior Software Developer you are responsible for the development and maintenance of clinical software packages for different healthcare organisations. You have excellent knowledge of Object oriented software design in both Java for the development in communication protocols en maintenance of existing interfaces. As senior developer you will take the lead in the team, and have direct contact with the development manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for software development of complex architectures
- Part of the complete software development cycle, from analyse till implementation
- Deliver high quality code, code review of junior developers
- Leading role within the team, you are able to help the other developers with problems
- Excellent knowledge of Java and C/C++, but also interested to learn the newest technologies
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Fluent in Dutch, English and preferably French
- 3-5 years' of experience with Object-Oriented softwaredesign
- Working experience with the whole software development cyclus
- Working experience with Java, C/C++
- Knowledge of healthcare information systems, like HL7, IHE is a strong plus but not mandatory
