For our client, a famous fashion brand known for its outstanding jewellery, we are looking for Senior Record to Report Accountant with fluent German language, to work in a new Shared Service Center in Gdańsk.
Your new position
In this position, your main responsibilities would include the following:
- Perform general accounting and reportingincluding
- processing journal entries,
- posting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions
- and process allocations;
- cash management,
- processing and overseeing of electronic fund transfers (EFTs),
- maintenance of EBS rule
- and management of cash equivalents;
- capital project accounting,
- monitoring and tracking of capital projects and budget spending
- and recording of project-related transactions;
What we expect
A motivated candidate with the following background:
- Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
- Excellent communicator who can adapt to different audiences
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Ability to process large amounts of data
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluency English and German in speaking and writing – C1 level
- “Getting things done” and service orientated attitude combined with the ability to communicate and explain procedures and solution proposals to partners
- Excellent cooperation skills
- At least 2 years of experience in the RtR/GL
- Continuous improvement mindset and process orientation and a solution orientated work approach
