Currently we are looking for Candidates interested in the position of Senior Purchaser to join our Client’s global service center in GdaĹ„sk. Our Client is a global leader in the offshore and marine industry.
Your new role
The person holding this position will be responsible for ensuring that purchasing process is carried out efficiently, accurately and with good cost/quality ratio. This include coordinating with Logistic centres on stock replenishment as well as coordinating activities related to commodity purchases. Other duties include supporting sales in the quoting process and updating Customer Offer with needed price and delivery information. In addition, the job holder will be responsible for preparing purchase order documents and ensuring that they are ready for invoicing.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for Candidates with commercial / technical Bachelor degree and minimum 2 years (min. 5 years for senior position) of experience in the similar role, ideally within ocean engineering, automotive mechanic, industrial engineer or steel technician sectors. To succeed in this role you will need to be team-oriented and have excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. Additionally, we require fluent command of English. Experience using EPR systems, such as SAP will be a valuable asset.
