THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Germany.
The company is part of one of the largest multinationals within the meat processing industry.
Due to it's rapid growth they are looking for an experienced project engineer to join their ranks.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be taking the lead in a variety of Green-, and/or Brownfield projects across multiple sites in Western and Eastern Europe.
With your international project management experience you will be able to handle the various stages in investment projects as well as being able to deal with the variety of nationalities. Consequently, you knowledge of English and German language ensures the smooth communication between the various stakeholders.
Furthermore, you do not shy away from traveling on a frequent basis and spending longer periods of time abroad.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Taking the lead in leading the projects and the projectteam
- Working closely together with various departments in various countries across Europe
- Realizing equipment and processes across the European sites, this includes making up the equipment and process specifications
- Actively working on the expansion and optimization of the production sites
- The planning, managing and guiding of restructuring, expansion and/or greenfield projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in engineering (mechanical)
- Fluent in German and English (additional language is of benefit)
- Multiple years of experience with international project management within the Food or Pharmaceutical industry
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
