Responsibilities:
- Managing BAU for clearing activities
- Portfolio compression, coupon blending, standard netting and other portfolio optimisation processes
- Performing Risk and P&L impact analysis.
- Performing all controls applicable to processes.
- Proactively raising any concerns, including the timely escalation of control issues.
- Work with the business to help refine processes and drive efficiency benefits.
- Work with the Risk and Control Team and other line managers to ensure that controls frameworks are in place and adhered to and that documentation is up to date.
- Provide SME input to change initiatives, including provision of business requirements and testing.
- Stakeholder management across TMG, Front Office, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance and IT
- Accountability for processing:
- Trades clearing to central counterparties across all asset classes
- Controls to ensure adherence to clearing regulatory requirements
- Coupon Blending and Standard Netting processes
- Bilateral, CCP & Internal compression events
- Regulatory compliance certification
- Backloading packages to various clearing houses
- Book Moves and internal hubbing
- Relevent experience within a Finance environment
- Financial education (University degree)
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and verbal (is a must)
- Excellent knowledge of derivatives products, clearing, risk and product parameters (incl. “the greeks”)
- Strong understanding of front to back trade lifecycle
- Strong communicator who´s able to build collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Analytical skills, preferably demonstrated within an Operations or Finance environment
- Strong Operations/ Middle Office business knowledge
