For our Client, a stable holding company working for construction industry, we are looking for Candidates who will overtake a start-up position of Senior Procurement Consultant (Fuel) in Indirect Category Management. The position is located in Warsaw and involves frequent travels within Poland and internationally.
The Consultant will strive for capturing synergy and optimization within Fuel category (mainly diesel, anthracite, coal, and lignite) and will work collaboratively with internal clients (management boards and procurement teams) of particular sister companies. He/She will cooperate with suppliers, negotiate terms and develop insight-driven recommendations. The objective of Senior Consultant is to catch and evaluate national sourcing needs, build execution plans as well as translate analytical insights into strategies to deliver increased performance. Senior Consultant will build a best-in-class expertise and market knowledge for Fuel category. This role, reporting to Country Procurement Director, is a part of the cross-functional centralized team of Indirect Category Management.
We are looking for Candidates with at least 10 years of professional experience in procurement, preferably indirect category management, in construction or production industry. The expertise of Fuel category (diesel, anthracite, coal or lignite) within Poland is crucial for this role. To succeed you will need as well strong project management, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills. Fluent command of English is desirable. Experience in leading procurement projects independently and negotiating contracts are required.
