ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Manufacturing/Process Engineer, you will take responsibility for delivering manufacturing solutions for electro-mechanical medical devices, supporting assembly processes as well as identifying continuous improvement opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Engineer skilled in mechanical design, process development and optimization, high volume assembly, Lean and Six Sigma. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead manufacturing engineering projects to optimize production processes
- Develop production processes, outline process flow charts, assembly sequencing, process parameters and tracking indicators
- Responsible for identifying production problems of new products in design phase, and to deliver evaluations of process change impacts
- Create and/or optimize manufacturing plans, work instructions, process specifications and procedures
- Produce qualification and validation documentation
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience within manufacturing/production environment of small parts and automation processes
- Experience in medical devices, in a start up is a pre
- Proven track record of delivering improvement projects
- GMP and injection moulding experience
