For our client an international company in the financial sector we re recruiting a Senior Java Software Engineer.
Your new role
As a Senior Java Software Engineer you will analyse and propose solutions based on business requirements, and translate these requirements into working software. You will amend and produce specifications/documentation as required. You will act as a 3rd Line support when necessary and investigate live system faults, diagnose problems, propose and provide solutions. Finally you will complete projects in a timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed
For this position, the ideal candidate owns a + 3 years of working experience in Java 8, Databases (SQL Server), Spring Framework, Java ORM frameworks (Hibernate, Ibatis), Clean Code Principles, Java Design patterns, BDD/TDD, Continuous Integration, Web UI development and testing. Knowledge of Agile and BI reporting tools is an advantage. The candidate needs to have a good understanding of English and good interpersonal skills. Finally the candidate should be able to work in a changing environment.
