We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Senior Infrastructure Engineer (SAS)

Location: Cracow

Senior Infrastructure Engineer (SAS)

Key Accountabilities:

IT department has moved to Agile/POD organization, this specific role is part of SAS EFM Global Infrastructure POD

SAS EFM is the best in class global standard transaction fraud detection/monitoring application

Build/configuration of SAS EFM (Transaction Fraud Monitoring System) environments and ensure initial setups are correct

Monitoring/support of environments/servers and enhance our capabilities in this area

Drive performance tuning of the application

Application is migrating from heavy mainframe design to completely distributed, Need to support migration towards our Future State infrastructure, will need to host knowledge sharing meetings over time

Requirements:

5+ years’ experience with a distributed background with knowledge of Unix, Web Application Server, MQ, Oracle and DB2, Control M, Patrol

L3 production support, understanding networking (DNS, load balancing, etc.) environment build, and configuration management a plus

Fraud monitoring/financial crimes experience a plus

Collaborative, team focused (willing to share information) with ability to work with others (other POD members, other PODS, ITID teams, project managers, etc)

Articulate, excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Experience with Agile and DevOps models/projects

Distributed knowledgeable/practioner (4 years+), Java knowledge a plus

Unix/Linux (RHEL) including shell scripting experience

Integration experience (MQ, API enabled integration, sockets, etc.)

Working with external vendors (SAS institute, etc)

Work with other IT teams, Engineering Leads across multiple teams

Success with collaborative team work, create new solutions with resources/teams outside of our “control”

Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio

Experience with SAS EFM preferred

Administration (dev, test, prod environment monitoring/health check, problem resolution, database changes, etc.)

Development and Production support – troubleshoot issues with databases, applications, and code

Technical writing skills, ability to translate technical solution into written narrative with visuals

Understand requirements and restrictions for Big Data ingestion

High Availability solutions (such as VCS, RAC)

Identify and implement tools to enhance productivity and problem notifications

Environment security – implement and enforce (encryption, PII, etc)

Provide impact analysis on any environment changes
