On behalf of our Client, an international company, that is establishing a new SSC to provide financial and accounting services from Gdańsk, we are currently recruiting for the position of Senior General Ledger Specialist.
To be successful in this roleyou will need to have experience in similar position. Additionally it is required to have knowledge of IFRS, SAP FICO (Financial Accounting –special in General Ledger) and Local Gaap of countries in MG SSC scope beneficiary. We are looking for senior professionals with 2-3 years experience as well. The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment and under pressure of time. Fluency in English is essential, knowledge of Finnish, German or Swedish would be an asset.
The chosen Candidate will be responsible forexecuting reports and journal postings related to the General Accounting Activities based on IFRS, performing period and year end closing operations on a timely and accurate basis, as well as ensuring proper reconciliation of reports and accounts. What is more, the chosen Candidate willbe preparing reports and documentation for internal and external purposes, responding to questions from relevant entities (e.g. auditors) and other SSC departments regarding general accounting matters and undertaking all other work as requested.
