Senior Finance & Accounting Process Specialist French Speaker

Position purpose

New and interesting opportunity to work with a worldwide leader in Media & Entertainment. The company has operations around the globe and creates, distributes, markets and licenses all forms of entertainment from feature films to television, home video/DVD, international cinema, and broadcasting.

We are looking for an experienced candidate, who is ready to be a part of Krakow Delivery Team - PTP processes.

Main accountabilities

• Vendor query resolution
• Processing discrepancies resolution
• Maintaining close interactions with teams within PTP
• Responsibility for delivery agreed scope of work
• Working closely with the Client and maintaining good working relationship
• Coordinating and escalating rush/emergency invoice requests from initial request to payment
• Determining root cause of returned payments/payment rejections and provide resolution
• Reviewing, researching and resolving to balance out debit/credit reports
• Reviewing desktop procedures (DTPs) in conjunction with Global AP
• Performing pay audit
• Processing electronic and manual payments
• Preparing all ad-hoc, PTP-related tasks requested by management
• Researching and resolving Accounts Payable issues
• Determining if appropriate actions have been taken prior to escalation
• Communicating resolution of item to Client within agreed upon time frames
• Identifying root cause of repetitive problems
• Proposing remedial actions to reduce future instances of repetitive problems
• Work with territory business units to implement processes to resolve identified root causes
• Engaging to provide AP subject matter expertise
• Participating in scheduled status update calls with the client regarding operational issues
• Monitoring business unit compliance with established AP Policies and Procedures
• Working with business units to resolve areas of non-compliance

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of French in writing and speaking (C1)
• Good knowledge of English (B2)
• Understanding and at least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable is a must, knowledge of payment processes would be an asset.
• SAP knowledge will be an asset
• Ability to analyze end to end processes
• Good knowledge of MS Office Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach
• Ability to work under pressure
• Very good customer service skills and Client-focus attitude
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing schedule of tasks
