We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role: Senior Data Specialist
Your typical day might include the following:
Performing data analysis of key problem areas to assist in root cause analysis. (wrong data types, formats, corruptions etc
Working closely with IT Architects, developers and customers to not only maintain and improve the existing Data Structure, but also maintain and build the next generation data models/warehouses
Setting up and data analysis, being responsible for data migration and preparation of data models, identification of data flow betweeen systems and contribution to IT and analysis developments.
Facilitating and co-ordinating all responses to requests from clients, ensuring responses are complete and are consistent globally
Training and advising more junior team members
Escalating data issues which need process re-engineering.
Auditing data on regular basis to ensure data integrity and data quality
Assisting with ongoing data architecture processes and governance
Assisting in maintenance, back up and security of business data.
Managing Multiple data warehouses
Involvement in Big Data solution
To join us you should have:
Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. High complexity, high data volumes, heavily regulated, dynamic.
Experience in performing or supporting quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Understanding of the Master Data Management techniques, Data Lineage, Data Quality
Understanding of using of database systems (SQL, MS SQL Server, Teradata etc.)”
Knowledge and experience in data modeling - keeping data in structured format, conceptual, logical and physical data modelling
Very good English
