Our client, a leading international company based in Warsaw is currently looking for an experienced Senior Buyer.
As Senior Buyer you will be responsible for leads the procurement process for the supply of material and services in the most cost and operationally effective manner from/for multiple geographical regions (i.e EMEA, Asia & Americas) for the flawless execution of Project Plans in line with customer requirements. You will cooperate closely with stakeholders worldwide and with engineering functions, the Global Sourcing function in activities surrounding various direct categories. You will perform techno-commercial negotiations and ensure materials/services provided by suppliers are in accordance to contractual agreements.
The role will suit an experienced Direct Buyer from the engineering or construction industry, preferably EPC environment, who is looking for long term cooperation. You need to have proven several years’ experience in Project Procurement with very strong negotiation skills international contracts. Alongside this you need to demonstrate professional and engaging communications skills and exposure to international procurement in multicultural environment. Fluency in English is a must, German or Russian will be an asset. Willingness to travel internationally is required.
