About us:
• We are a British Business, established in 2006, we now work with over 40 of the largest 50 global recruiters.
• We monitor hundreds of thousands of companies to identify new jobs as they are forming, we then publish job information to recruiters on subscription.
• We are a high growth business, 2016 will be our fourth consecutive year of 50%+ revenue growth, where contracted sales for 2017 are already over 50% above this year.
• Our base of business operations is in Warsaw, where we have a team of over 20 people, approx 35% Anglo-American. All people in Warsaw are offered employment contracts through our Polish entity.
• As part of that expansion, we are growing our media brand, Recruitment Industry Insights.
About Recruitment Industry Insights:
• In 2015 we created a media brand, designed to showcase the insight that the data could provide to business leaders in the industry. We called that Recruitment Industry Insights.
• This brand has been grown organically, where to start with we partnered with leading organisations in the recruitment industry to publish reports on market trends.
• With each partner, we would sign exclusive terms for a specific area, where they would then make a financial contribution to cover costs of data analysis, write-up and production. We are looking at up to twelve different report series for next year.
• We get picked up in the business media frequently and PR acts as a crucial aspect to the effectiveness of our reports.
• For each report series, we commit to writing ten reports per year, meaning that in 2017 we are aiming to publish up to 120 reports.
• We also produce shorter ‘insights’ which are one-off articles of up to 400 words on specific topics.
• We are launching new segments to ‘Recruitment Industry Insights’ involving commissioning articles and interviewing leading figures in the industry. As these go live you would be involved in delivering on them.
• With all this content we have a newsletter, which we will look to produce weekly, (currently varying frequency) with all the latest content. Currently, this is received by 8k people, our objective is to boost organic sign ups as we get the content in place to over 20k people in the UK.
• We will also be producing a magazine in February, which will be an annual overview of all macroeconomic trends in the UK by industry in 2016. This will be only available to people who have requested a copy.
You should:
• Be a native English speaker.
• Have experience of business journalism, at least 2 years, preferably within a leading organisation.
• Be someone who has a passion for current affairs, so naturally keeps up to date on global political economy.
• Want to learn how to use analytical tools for data, so improve their own time efficiencies. Training will be provided.
• Be prepared to ‘dive in’ and immerse yourself in our data so to understand how it inter-relates with macroeconomic activity.
• Have good soft skills, so is able to liaise directly with external partners on the emphasis for each report and push back when necessary.
• Be happy to build a relationship with journalists so our reports get picked up in the press.
• Manage freelancers and internal junior writers and be prepared to invest into them so they improve over time.
• Actively engage with our marketing team to maximise the impact of everything we produce.
• Want to be a key part of a fast growing dynamic business and be an integral person that drives our content strategy.
