Senior Associate, Financial Reporting & Accounting
As an Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the monthly/quarterly close process which includes GAAP and Statutory reporting, and other duties performed by the Polish Legal Entity Accountant.
Collaborating with the Legal Entity Accountant you will assist with the Monthly/Quarterly Close, help prepare statutory and financial reporting, and participate in the financial analysis process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monthly/Quarterly Close
- Assist in closing each month, which includes working with colleagues in India to post the monthly activity, rolling the system forward to the next month and performing reconciliations related to this system close.
- Reconciliation internal financial systems.
- Reconciliation of different reports and analysis with previous quarter, budget vs. actuals.
- Producing analysis and explaining financial statement variances.
- Assist internal and external audit processes to ensure efficiency of the same.
Statutory
- Monitor statutory ledger and make adjustments as necessary to eliminate inappropriate variances.
- Assist in invoice coding.
- Assist in statutory reporting (VAT, CIT, GUS, NBP).
- Verification of travel forms (internal audit).
- Coordination of internal documents flow.
- Liaising with outsourced providers where applicable
Financial Analysis
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts between the ledgers (US and Local).
- Providing expertise and advice on technical accounting matters.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Fluent English (both oral and written).
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail .
- Superb report writing skills.
- Computer literate including Excel, PowerPoint and other commonly used software e.g., People Soft.
- Good organisational skills with ability to work under time pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Polish Accounting Office is a must..
