Senior AR Accountant
Speaking of this role, you will have an opportunity to build a new finance processes from a scratch by taking part and coordinate transitions in different European countries. This is also the opportunity to cooperate in an international environment and drive various improvement projects!
Main responsibilities:
- Daily progressing (legal) overdue trade receivables, outstanding disputes and verify and execute rebates;
- Manage the disputes turn-around-time;
- Provide reliable and well-documented risk advice to senior management and/or sales department based on accurate assessment and evaluation of all appropriate internal & external factors and objectives. Ensure that changes to credit limits comply with the global credit policy;
- Advise MDM team of discovered changes in customer master data;
- Updating Credit management module/system in respect of known problems to provide information and guidance to Sales and Credit Control personnel in other AN offices/countries;
- Setting credit limits in respect of local customers using Dun & Bradstreet;
- Production of monthly figures for the analysis of aged debt and monthly STOP lists;
- To translate O2C strategy into constructive action on all levels of the business and within all departments;
- To drive the resolution of disputes and minimize the turn-around-time or manage according to the SLA;
- To verify rebates and drive the payout execution within SLA.
What we expect:
- 2+ years of experience in accounting and finance
- Fluent Russian or Greek language (verbal and written)
- Very good command of English (verbal and written)
- Experienced in working within a multicultural environment
- Good knowledge of ERP environment, especially SAP (financial module)
- Ablility to set priorities and work independently
- Extended knowledge of order to cash end to end process
- Commercial focus and balanced decision-making
