senior ap accountant with German

Our Client is one of the world’s premiere management consulting firms with over 8,000 consultants across more than 90 locations. The shared service center in Poznań provides different services to
EMEA region, including financial support to members of the German office cluster. Currently, we are looking for a person, who will join the team on the position of:

Main Task and Responsibilities:

prepare, scan and process transactions for the German office
- resposnsibility for the whole ap process: account assignment, invoice scanning, fixed assets, renumeration of invoices, supplier and vendor communication and maintanance, account reconciliation and interoffice ap allocation
- ensure compliance with German specific, company’ s specific accounting, expense regulations and policies
- process data and assist in providing analytical support, problem solving, and data interpretation

Experience:

- 2-3 years of professional experience in the AP field, and in particular shared service centers
- accounting apprenticeship or equivalent professional education
- good verbal and written language skills both in German and English
- solid MS Office skills (Excel and Word)
- analytical thinking and sound problem solving skills
- distinct quality mindset and attention to detail, accurate working style
- ability to work and stay focused under pressure, manage urgent tasks against aggressive timelines
- solid communication skills to tailor messages over the phone and via email
- willingness to learn and share knowledge and experience across regional and organizational boundaries
