For our Client, international company we are searching for experience Candidates on position Senior Accountant/Team Leader.
Essential Responsibilities:Manage and perform month end close to ensure that statutory closing is prepared to enable submission of US GAAP reporting in accordance with corporate deadlines. Manage general accounting activities for allocated entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel expenses, banking processes. Ensure accounting practices and tax calculations comply with local statutory requirements. Ensure monthly balance sheet re-classifications are performed to corporate criteria where applicable. Understand key models and month end tasks, pro-actively seeking to improve and simplify where necessary. Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers. Ensure all assigned account reconciliations are prepared and reviewed accurately and submitted in line with corporate criteria. Support with ad-hoc projects and other Management Controllership tasks as necessary. Preparation of year-end financial statements for assigned ledgers (branches, legal entities). Prepares other statutory reporting (NBP, GUS). Interact and respond to auditor queries, internal and external as necessary. Assist in quarterly balance sheet review and prepare variance analysis as necessary. Support controllership data requests, and auditing processes, Take active part in preparation and submission of VAT and tax returns on supported ledgers in close cooperation with Corporate Tax.
Qualifications/Requirements:Finance/Accounting degree or equivalent, Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant., Min. 3 years experience in accounting, Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, Ability to communicate at all levels. Strong system skills (MS Office including Excel, Soft lab or other accounting software desirable), License of Polish Ministry of Finance a plus, Proactive, ability to operate effectively with minimal guidance. Ability to challenge processes and implement improved working methods. Fluent in Polish and at least communicative knowledge of English.
