Senior/Accountant SettlementMiejsce pracy: Warszawa
Responsibilities:
Preparing financial reports, reports of risks and opportunities, statements.
Establishment of the operating procedures and checkpoints for the team
Participating in the monthly close process (including preparation and review of reconciliations)
Being a part in regular reviews of transaction processing
Account analysis
Resolving and escalating issues
Preparation of the journal entries related to the settlement accounting process
Cooperation with other team members
Correcting control of financial transactions
Supporting the other team members using knowledge and experience
Candidate expectations:
At least 2 years of experience in Accounting area, preferably in banking or payment services industry
Experience of reporting under IFRS and/or US GAAP as well as preparing/reviewing reconciliations
Fluency in English language (both written and spoken)
Fluency in German language will be an advantage
Strong control mindset with an ability to implement and suggest solutions to issues arising
Availability for some amount of travel to EMEA locations
