THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology organization, based in Belgium.
The company is a major biotechnology firm focusing on small molecules. They have both clinical and preclinical programs and have a strong pipeline of experimental therapies.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will join a team of experts that develops and validates a diversity of assays but you will also outsource some of the more in vitro related tasks to other departments. You will thus carry out a variety of techniques used in the discovery stage and fiercely inspect your data to find out what is most valuable. As a coordinator, you will aid in setting up time schedules and budgets and finding out what is most needed as a scientist team lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a number of project groups
- Steer assay development and validation
- Coordinate in vivo work
- Set up schedules and budgets
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in Biology or a related field with a focus on in vitro work and drug discovery
- Expertise in the field of managing and outsourcing
- Strong communicator
- Fluent in English
- Excellent negotiator
- At least 4+ years of experience
