SAP PP Senior Consultant

Successful candidate will be responsible for Management of SAP and Business Applications systems required to enable Manufacturing (Production) and Shop Floor Execution related processes within Group. SAP is the leading ERP surrounded by different legacy applications which are the foundation for executing the core business processes.

Description

• Provide expertise within the SAP PP (Product Planning and Execution) and its integration with other SAP modules and legacy systems
• Act as a subject matter expert for any process in the PP area
• Work closely with Business functions to plan, align priorities, implement and provide regular status updates
• Identify, analyze and propose improvement areas and opportunities in the supported processes and solutions
• Support Business and IT members on transferring the knowledge of implemented functionality
• Ensure the knowledge and the functionality being implemented is well documented
• Align with PLM/PP Team Lead on the design and implementation of the solution, provide regular status updates, align priorities and capacity
• Manage full lifecycle implementation projects or subprojects within budget, timeline, scope and quality
• Ensure project methodology and quality standards are applied
• Management of external resources within the project
• Handle change requests from the business according to Group Change Management process
• Training of key users on the processes and applications
• Handling of support tickets. Handle day to day production issues related to SAP PP
• Provide and supervise documentation
• Application support for infrastructure changes and application upgrades
• Proactively drive process standardization and reduction of complexity within the application landscape and business processes
• Following Nobel Biocare SOPs to maintain regulatory compliance and system / process validation
• Drive innovation within the application landscape and processes (simpler, better, more efficient)

Profile

• University degree or equiv. diploma
• At least 5 year's experience in SAP configuration and implementation in SAP PP and related Cross Application Management modules
• Good communication skills and experience of working in multicultural global IT environment
• Able to work in a dynamic environment and encouraged to take new challenges
• Deep technical IT knowledge of supported Business applications and process flows
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
• Proven deep technical IT knowledge in the SAP PP module: Master data, Bill of Material, Routing, Workcenter's, Documents, Production Resource Tools, Production execution end to end Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Execution, ATP rule framework, Goods movements with batch and serial numbers, Make to Order based on Variant configuration, Make to Stock, Order change management, Kanban replenishment, MRP and Demand planning, Batch/Serial number management
• Excellent knowledge in the core processes and best practice for the area of PP and MES
• Good knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (PLM/CA/SD/QM/FICO)
• Strong knowledge of interfaces between SAP and other external applications
• Understand ABAP language and programs (BADI/BAPI, user-exits, Sapscript)
• Data upload using LSMW, BDCs and upload programs
• Proven experience of system configuration and implementation of SAP PP
• Proven experience in supporting the SAP PLM and CA modules
