Our client is a professional Chemicals and Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Sales Manager is responsible for growing the business in the Benelux by expanding the customer portfolio and increase sales per customer. Next to that you are responsible for finding new business opportunities through product development and by expanding the ingredients portfolio.
You will give technical advice on ingredients, processing and application recipes to clients’ R&D organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acquire knowledge on the technical specifications for each product in order to become an effective sparring partner with the customers about product needs.
- Define business opportunities per (target) customer.
- Learn about the company's extensive innovation capabilities
- Creation of business plans and budgets for customers portfolio.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry or related area and a solid proven track record
- commercial minded
- know- how of the food ingredient market
- Management skills
- 3-5 years experience
- fluent Dutch and English
