THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
Our client is looking for a Regional Medical Liaison for a period of about 12 months, 24 hours a week.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Medical Liaison your role will be to maximize the company´s value propositions to create value for patients through medical and scientific data discussions and projects, services and expertise, with scientific customers within the hematology therapeutic area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represents the companies Medical department
- Identifies & develops collaborative relationships with current and future hematologists treating multiple myeloma.
- Executes physician engagement plan as developed by the medical adviser in collaboration with the brand team.
- Develops required qualitative and quantitative reports; collates competitor information
- Identifies new research opportunities and proactively shares ideas and insights with medical adviser
- Ensures conduct of work in line with compliance regulations
- Together with other hematology RML’s covers the overall hematology arena for multiple myeloma
- Supports Medical Adviser & Therapeutic Area Head in developing local territory R&D tactics
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Medical or scientific education or experience from similar positions
- Advanced degree (e.g. PhD , MD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training
- Excellent communication skills, willingness to share information proactively
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industry, or a related scientific field in academia
- Experience in sales force, affiliate Medical Department
- Scientific expertise in the therapeutic area of multiple myeloma
- Experience with remote data discussion
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of commercialization and business practices
- Knowledge of regulatory affairs, drug safety, legal and compliance environment
- Network of customer contacts in the field of hematology
- Medical / scientific research experience
