The Recruitment Coordinator will interface regularly with Amazon’s global team to ensure the candidate’s Amazon interview experience is positive from beginning to end. Amazon highly values the candidate experience and the Recruitment Coordinator will have an immediate impact on the experience of every candidate. This person will be the candidate’s primary point of contact for information and assistance throughout the interviewing process.
The Recruitment Coordinator will support the Recruitment team with the scheduling of interview panels for Operations and Customer Service roles.
Key responsibilities but not limited to:
• Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow up and communication with the Candidate throughout the candidate’s lifecycle
• Coordinate complex on-and off-site interview schedules, liaising and negotiating with Hiring Managers, Interviewers and the Candidate to accommodate varying availabilities
• Manage a heavy workload by effectively prioritizing action items, thus ensuring appropriate and timely action on deliverables
• Schedule a high number of phone interviews within defined timelines
• Arrange all candidate travel and handle the submission and payment of candidate expenses
• Take full ownership of coordinating the recruitment process through pro-active communication, diligence and anticipation of candidate, interviewer and recruiter requirements
• Continuous innovation of the recruitment process by suggesting and implementing ways in which it can be improved
Basic skills:
• Experience operating in a complex, international, fast paced environment, where customer experience is paramount and juggling conflicting demands against tight deadlines is the norm
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary
• Complex calendar management and scheduling
• Highly conversant with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks and projects autonomously
• Impeccable attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Experience in arranging international travel and events management
• Excellent judgment skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity
Preferred skills:
• Exposure to database management is preferred
• Fluency in other European languages would be advantageous
