Our client is a professional Clinical Research and Medical Devices organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium.
The client is the medical devices branch of a global pharmaceutical company.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a R&D Scientist you are designing and implementing the workflows of the company. You are responsible for scientific innovations to improve knowledge of biopharmaceutical properties of the drug substance and drug product, ensuring optimal in vivo performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementing of in vitro workflows to understand and predict the absorbtion potential of new compounds
- Improve the workflows of the company
- Improving the scientific innovations and participate in the evaluation of analytical techniques
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in Biopharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Engineering or related science in biopharmaceutics
- Experience with vitro techniques in biopharmacy.
- Understanding concepts regarding PBPK modelling and in vitro biopharmaceutics
- Experience in working with down scaled and automated high-troughput experimentation
- Fluent in English
