THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Germany.
The company is a very successful spin-off from the university, providing services in bioinformatics, project management, experimental design and consultancy to top breeding companies. Due to its success, the company is rapidly expanding and is looking for a R&D Director to manage the activities.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As R&D Director, you will be in charge of managing all R&D activities. Currently there are 10 employees at the company, which creates an informal work environment where the R&D director is involved in many aspects of the company. A flexible and entrepreneurial mindset is an asset, as well an hands-on personality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Part of management team with decision-making responsibilities
- Leadership role in the company (Lean Six Sigma is a pre)
- Management of all R&D activities
REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive R&D experience in the crop science industry
- At least Master degree in life science related study, PhD & MBA is a pre
- Fluency in English
