Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Netherlands.
The company of our client is an internationally focused Agricultural business (Dutch). Their departments are widely focused on research and innovation for the crop science industry. Such as flower, vegetables and tree varieties.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In the role of R&D Breeding Strategy Manager, within this organization you will focus on Research, Development and Innovation within the Breeding department. You will be the expert of this field. Your focus will be aimed at understanding the association between value brought forward by these methods and the results that team efforts can realize. Thus it is your responsibility to translate these results and understand how to coordinate the team to reach these goals. All together an interesting combination between Breeding, strategy and leadership
Being the lead of this team while being the coordinator of the strategy, presents much responsibility, owner ship and at the same time plenty of opportunities for your personal/career development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate multiple breeding project throughout the year
• Identify market needs and trends
• Manage Process and evaluate research data/outcome
• Innovate on Research genetics of the flowers and set up cross breeding projects
• Management experience with Breeders/Assistant Breeders
REQUIREMENTS
• PhD in agricultural related field with research experience in plant breeding
• At least 3-5 years of management experience in a breeding company
• Genetic and molecular breeding techniques
• Gross breeding knowledge
• Dutch and fluent English
• Leading and motivational personality
