For one of our Clients, energy company located in Warsaw, we are looking for a Quantitative Developer- independent role in international team.
As a Quantitative Developer you will be a part of a department that implements quantitative tools for the valuation and optimisation of energy assets, models for energy curves and volatility, tools for forecasting complex contracts in addition to analytical tools for our own use and for our stakeholders. Your task will be focused on implementing and maintaining front-end tools that supports hedging strategies, asset optimisation and pricing for our stakeholders. You will implement quantitative models in our back-end system based on prototypes from our quantitative analysts and implement and maintain interfaces to the main systems.
We are looking for a person with master's degree in economics, IT, engineering or a similar field. Our Client expects programming experience in Python. Experience with working on a quantitative Linux back-end will be an advantage. Fluent English is a must. Motivation to find simple and robust solutions to complex issues will also be important. This role requires travelling for first 3 months.
