For our Client one of the oldest financial institutions, we are searching for skilled individual that is willing to develop within new growing Quant Hub department as a Quantitative Analyst- Model Risk Validation.
Your new role
As a Quantitative Analyst within Model Risk Management, you are responsible for assessing models and the risks they pose for the bank. This entails knowledge of theoretical constructs and the ability to make alternative models. The models are important for the firm, supporting Senior Management and Board of Directors in the decision-making process. The role will part of Risk and Compliance sector including the following groups: Risk Management, Compliance, Global Corporate Security, Information Risk Management and Global Business Continuity.
What you'll need to succeed
At least Master’s Degree of Science in a quantitative field such as physics, engineering, statistics, econometrics, and mathematics or a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in the same quantitative fields along with a minimum of two years of experience. Experiences in numerical analyses, complex quantitative modeling and/or computational methodologies using programming languages (such as C/C++, C#, Java, FORTRAN, MATLAB, SAS and R), mathematical/statistical software packages and live data (preferred). Must be extremely focused, detail oriented, results oriented and highly productive. Under the supervision of more senior staff, must have the ability to efficiently and effectively conduct independent researches, analyze problems, formulate and implement solutions, and produce quality results on a timely manner.
