THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Chemicals organization, based in Basel-Stadt Switzerland.
This large chemical company has several production plants mainly located in Germany and Switzerland with high levels of autonomy.
It has a very broad portfolio of chemical ingredients and custom synthes solutions that they produce and deliver to the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, cosmetic and food related industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Quality Manager will contribute to develop a strong QMS. Therefore the associated tasks will be the improvement of the current ISO 9001 and the implementation of a QMS in compliance of ISO 14001 and ISO 18001. In the next years there are also plans for the implementation of the ISO 45001.
Currently, the Quality Manager will be expected to identify deficiencies in the ISO 9001 and translate them into an action plan.
Besides the implementation of this integrated system, the Quality Manager is also expected to perform the standard Quality activities. This includes: CAPA Management, change control, documentation, complaint handling, lead and perform internal audits, interact with external partners, create Quality agreements...
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build up a Quality Management System: ISO9001, ISO 14001
- Conduct information mapping, process writing and perform a strong gap analysis
- Implementation of the ISO 18001 in the current integrated system
- Investigation of CAPAs and deviations, complaint handling, preparation of the SQS Audit, internal audits, contact with external partners, risk assessment...
REQUIREMENTS
- +7 years of experience in Quality within the chemical industry
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001; ISO 18001
- Ideally previous experience with agrochemical substances and pharmaceutical intermediates
- Native German (all documentation is written in German)
