THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Hamburg Germany.
Biotechnology Laboratory specialized in cell culture with a large client portfolio. They contribute to the biotech industry by developing new and effective bioanalytical methods.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Quality Director Cell culture will develop and improve the current Quality Management System. It is expected that the Quality Director challenges the current practices and suggests new methods and operating procedures. Besides, you will actively participate on the Quality strategy.
In this position the Quality Director reports directly to the Corporate Quality VP. At the same time, he/ she will be responsible for a team of 4-5 employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a strong Quality Management System and improve some of the current practices
- Lead and perform internal audits
- Ensure compliance of GLP, GcLP and GCP guidelines
- Main contact person for authorities and external partners
- Train and help 4 employees
REQUIREMENTS
- Master or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry or Pharmacy (or related Degree)
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance within a biotech environment
- Expert in GLP, GCP guidelinces
- Proven track record managing people and projects
- Proficient German and English skills
