Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Namen Belgium.
The company is a family-owned business and one of the larger firms in the fruit & vegetable industry. It has a wide range of products and well-known Belgian brands. The company is rapidly expanding and has a strong focus on R&D and innovative healthy food concepts.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Quality Control Manager, you ensure that finished products for multiple product lines conform to specifications. You will lead the QC lab and train operators, supervising QC analyses and suggesting areas of improvement in case of deviations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise QC tests, including physical, chemical, organoleptic and microbiological analyses.
- Decide whether blocked products should be released or not.
- Ensure that QC plans in production and the lab are correctly implemented and applied.
- Provide QA with Quality Performance KPI's and results and suggest plans for improvement in case of structural deviations.
- Give trainings to lab personnel.
- Responsible for the lab, keeping track of performance and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Bio-Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Technology, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in French and English.
