Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zeeland Netherlands.
The company is specialized in vegetable products and supplies the retail and foodservice industry. ROLE DESCRIPTION
As QA Specialist, you will be part of the QA Department consisting of 10 people. You will be responsible for the quality management system and adapting it to new legal or client demands. You will also be responsible for complaint handling and drafting follow-up actions and improvement plans. Organizing and supporting (international) client audits is also part of your responsibilities. This position offers you the opportunity to grow into a management role, as you will take over his responsibilities when the QA Manager is absent.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and maintaining the quality management system.
- Identifying trends in legislation and standards, and implementing these in the quality management system.
- Organizing and supporting external audits, including client audits.
- Handling complaints and developing proposals for improvement.
- Evaluating project plans from other departments with regard to impact on QA.
- Collecting and reporting data.
- Acting as the QA Manager when the QA Manager is absent.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology or similar.
- At least 2 years of experience with QA in the food industry.
- Experience with HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC and IFS.
- Experience with retail quality systems and audits is a plus.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
