THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
The company is specialised in various ingredients, focussing mainly on the bakery sector.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Quality Assurance Manager, you are responsible for all product quality and food safety issues on the site. You will manage a small team of QA officers and report to the Managing Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the QA Department.
- Responsible for the quality management system, keeping it up to date with legal and client demands.
- Handling complaints and questions.
- Managing clients specifications systems.
- Doing audits and following up on audit results.
- Creating a 'culture of quality' in the organisation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Food Quality Management, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance.
- Experience in the bakery industry is an asset.
- Experience with BRC, RiskPlaza, SKAL and Halal certifications.
- Fluency in Dutch and English required.
