THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
The company is a provider of AGF products to the retail, foodservice, wholesale and industry. The production site has been recently renovated and employs approximately 100-150 people.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Quality Assurance Manager, you are responsible for ensuring a high level of product quality and food safety. This is an all-round position for a QA Manager who wants to combine strategy and operational responsibilities. Besides QA, you will also be involved in R&D projects and take up CSR tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the quality system, ensuring a high standard of food safety and quality which conforms to client and legal demands.
- Review suppliers with regards to quality performance.
- Conduct internal and external audits, both announced and unannounced.
- Write and review work instructions.
- Handle ingredient and final product specifications.
- Anticipate trends in food safety and CSR legislation.
- Participate in R&D projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience with QA in the food industry.
- Experience with HACCP, BRC and IFS.
- Experience with CSR (ISO 26000) and/or R&D is an asset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English required; fluency in German and/or French is an asset.
