Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Friesland Netherlands.
The company is one of the largest food companies in the world, specialized in meat products.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Quality Assurance Manager ensures the product quality and safety of a wide range of meat products and continuously strives to improve quality and efficiency of production processes. The Quality Assurance Manager is part of the Management Team and has 4 direct reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the Quality Department (4 direct reports).
- Managing quality systems and ensuring client demands with regards to quality are met.
- Supporting internal and external audits.
- Providing expertise on QA-related matters.
REQUIREMENTS
- HBO or University degree in Food Technology or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience as QA Manager in the food industry, experience with meat preferred.
- Experience with FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS and European food legislation.
- Experience with continuous improvement.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
