THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium.
The company is specialized in bakery ingredients and will open a new plant in Antwerp.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Quality Assurance Manager will manage the quality aspects of the new plant in Antwerp, and is also responsible for the company's three other plants. The Quality Assurance Manager will start his or her first year working primarily in Antwerp, and then move between the head office in East Flanders and Antwerp. This is a high position within the company, and the Quality Assurance Manager will report directly to the CEO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and improve quality of products and services.
- Translate the company's strategy in a long-term strategy and short-term plans and projects.
- Periodically evaluate quality assurance policy and align it with market and legislative developments.
- Manage the Quality Department and coach QA and QC Officers (10 in total).
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5 years of experience as QA Manager in the food industry.
- Master's Degree in Bio-Engineering or similar.
- Experience with quality management systems, especially BRC and IFS.
- Experience with managing teams.
- Analytical skills and down-to-earth mentality.
- Willingness to travel between Antwerp and East Flanders.
