THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Friesland Netherlands.
The company is one of the largest players in the nonalcoholic beverage industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for all food safety, product quality, health, safety and environment related matters within the site in Friesland. You will ensure a high standard both for products produced on the site, as well as products from the company's partners. You will often work in cross-functional teams with R&D, Production and Technical Services. Additionally, you are part of the Site MT and manage a department consisting of 15 fte.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the QHSE Department (15 fte).
- Ensuring quality of products manufactured on the site and by third parties.
- Maintaining the quality system, including HSE systems.
- Participating in continuous improvement projects to reduce customer complaints.
- Coordinating R&D projects (together with the R&D Manager).
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Technology or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience as QA or QHSE Manager in the food industry.
- Experience with quality management systems.
- Experience with supplier relations and supplier audits.
- Experience with R&D is an asset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
