THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Groningen Netherlands.
The company is a mid-sized player in the edible oils and fats industry, producing a wide variety of products for industrial clients.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As QA/QC Manager, you will be responsible for all quality-related issues on the site. You will maintain and further develop a QA strategy and ensure a high standard of food safety and product quality. You will manage a team of 4 QA and QC Officers and work closely with Production, Engineering and R&D.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a high level of quality on the site.
- Manage the QA/QC department (4 fte).
- Manage audits and customer questions.
- Create a culture of quality by giving trainings to employees.
- Develop and implement SHE policy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance in the food industry.
- Experience with HACCP and FSSC 22000 or ISO 22000.
- Experience with HSE is an asset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English required; fluency in German is an asset.
