Our client is a professional FMCG organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
The company is an innovative player in the packaging industry which produces mainly for the food industry. The company has a number of big clients in the food industry and is looking to attract new talent to keep up with the company's growth.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As QA Engineer in the R&D Department, you will support projects by joining and sometimes initiating DFMEA sessions. You will set up the Quality Planning together with the project managers, write the prototype control plan and validation plans for products and machines. You will also manage the dimensional analysis of parts and sometimes perform this yourself. You are the quality backbone in the R&D Department and your contribution is critical in ensuring the success of new products.
On a typical day, you will be checking the status of the dimensional analyses, write a validation report for a new product, participate in a meeting on a design review, write a prototype control plan and review validation results from a machine trial. You will be doing this for multiple projects at the same time, requiring good time management skills and the ability to quickly identify possible risks and make decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write the Quality planning for development projects.
- Manage and sometimes perform dimensional analyses.
- Work out prototype control plans and validation plans.
- Communicate and transfer operational control plans to the Operations Quality team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Experience with the packaging industry, specifically plastic injection moulding.
- Experience with QA or QC, preferably within an R&D environment.
- Experience with Minitab or similar statistical software.
- Green Belt is an asset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English required; fluency in German and/or French is an asset.
