Przedstawiciel Handlowy ds. sprzedaży na rynku akademickim

We are seeking Sales Representative for a territory of Poland who will sell EBSCO Publishing products to academic, medical and corporate accounts.

  • Position Type: Full Time
  • Travel percentage: 50 %

Essential functions include:

  • Provide balanced sales coverage of accounts in territory
  • Achieve targeted sales quote each fiscal year 
  • Prepare quotes, send literature to customers and coordinate with the Account Executive to set up trials when appropriate
  • Provide input from the market for product development and marketing purposes
  • Achieve an expert level of knowledge of EBSCO Publishing’products and competition – training will be provided by our company
  • Develop sales strategy for region for overall sales of company products
  • Average 21 face-to-face visits per month with prospects and/or customers.
  • In relation to sales activity, logging all the information on visits and meetings with prospects and/or customers into the company’s customer tracking program and reporting in oral or written form to Senior Director of Sales.

Basic qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required language knowledge: fluent English and Polish native
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, previous experience selling into the academic, medical, corporate field is preferred.
  • Ability to travel between 40-70 % depending on need and time of year. Attend conferences.
  • Candidates must live in Poland

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic understanding of computers and research
  • Experience in current position preferred, demonstrated by ability to prioritize
  • Must have proven communication and sales skills
  • Must demonstrate strong initiative
  • Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone
  • Driver’s license and solid driving record
