Project QA Engineer

We deliver quality innovative engineered solutions to meet client's requirements in a variety of challenging markets. Our equipment spans across the engineering disciplines and incorporates mechanical structure, control and electrical systems many with hydraulic drive and actuation. Projects range in scale and complexity all the way up to projects with 1000's tonnes of delivered equipment.

To help meet our OSBIT - On Spec, Budget and In Time, delivery business criteria we require a QA Engineer to join our dynamic company.

You will work closely with our customers defining contract quality requirements and ensuring the company and its supply chain meet these requirements. You will be involved in the project over the project life cycle ensuring any customer or supplier issues are resolved and work across the organisation to help ensure the delivery of projects are within specification, to budget and delivered on time.

Our equipment is manufactured world wide and then in many cases assembled at the company own workshops, where the electrical, control and hydraulic systems are assembled and tested. Commissioning of the equipment is generally at our client location and in many cases onboard a vessel. This role will require close liaison with both the project and production teams as well as the supply base.

The role will span across multiple projects and will be executed as part of the Supply Chain function of the business.

You should have experience of all aspects of quality systems associated with heavy engineering projects throughout the project life cycle and will have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.

You should have a degree or equivalent in Quality Management, Engineering or Materials.
