THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Medical Devices organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
By working closely with surgeons this company is one of the world leading Medical Devices companies and aims to stay in this position. Because they get constant feedback about their products by surgeons they are able to develop and deliver top end surgical equipment.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a project engineer you will be initiating and guiding small specific projects for the development of new products together with further developing existing products. You are part of a project group and will deliver necessary documentation for the technical product dossier. You will work in a structured way focused on the development process and will communicate about the progress of the projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Delivering required documentation regarding the development process in guidelines with the rules and regulations
-Setting up documentation regarding the product design and assembly
-Delivering product data sheets and setting up test methods, verification, validation protocols and reports
-Setting up specifications of parts
-You are responsible for buying templates/casts, tools and measuring equipment.
-You are responsible for the first delivery of materials and setting up the certificate reports
-Setting up (product) FMEA and risk analyses
-Assessing the clinical evaluations
-Writing manuals in Dutch and English
REQUIREMENTS
-At least HBO or BSc degree in for example mechanical or electro techniques
-Experience with documentation, preferably in a production environment
-Interest in mechanical and electronic medical products and the materials used in these products
-Knowledge of rules, regulations and international standards is preferred
-Being able to fix complex cases in theory and in practice and knowing how to set up a best practice method
-Experience with risk management methods, MS Office, Visio and ERP
-Excellent written and verbal skills in Dutch and English
