HRO Personnel is a Human Resources service provider operating under number 6696. We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Programme Management
Responsibilities:
Influence strategy and shape the programme approach across a series of projects or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes.
Drive programme delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks.
Lead definition of staffing, responsibilities and schedules.
Establish effective programme controls and procedures.
Set high expectations concerning quality and put in place quality assurance processes.
Manage relationships with external suppliers.
Report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to steering committees and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation.
Provide visible leadership to maintain a focus on how the programme aligns to the change portfolio across our Client.
Drive the adoption of our Client's standards and work in alignment with our Client methodology at all times
Lead the team to meet performance targets aligned to programme objectives.
Manage and drive the shaping, planning and delivery of the allocated data projects
Manage and drive the delivery of critical dependencies into core programmes such as Data Governance, BCBS239 and GDPR
Work closely with Group Data Services stakeholders and GB/GF CDO's to ensure business requirements are understood, translated and delivered as tooling capabilities
Work closely with Group Data Services stakeholders and GB/GF CDO's on tooling capability adoption and exploitation
Coordinate delivery and dependencies between other Data Management projects and other relevant programmes/initiatives
Own and develop individual project plans and other required documentation as required for project governance
Manage and resolve dependencies between projects
Manage and coordinate communication and training
Manage the delivery pipeline
Manage the delivery team
Track, control, monitor and deliver to these plans
Identify and manage programme RAIDs and escalate as appropriate
Manage and lead recruitment
Manage and coordinate budgeting cycle
Ensure all project portfolio reporting to other forums is consistent and aligned.
Translate communications and stakeholder management strategy and plans into executable actions
Co-ordinate and administer working groups and committees
Prepare/distribute meeting agendas/papers and document/distribute minutes and actions
Create and maintain stakeholder distribution lists, map to communications and stakeholder management plans and co-ordinate communications distribution
Represent data services in governance forums as required
Requirements:
Experience working in data focused teams, delivery projects or programmes across different sectors within Financial Services
Experience with data tooling implementation, in particular tools used to discover, analyse and report on metadata
Experience with data tooling operating model implementation
Experience with Data Management Tools desirable
Experience managing teams, planning demand and managing resource capacity
Solid delivery record
Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities
Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders
Ability to bring analytical rigour and structure and effective solutions to poorly-defined problems
Typical qualifications would include a Bachelor's degree / equivalent experience
Experience working with senior stakeholders in a global environment is desirable
