For our customer, an international company producing pumps we are currently looking for Product Engineer for Industrial Pumps. Product engineer is responsible for the design and development of Positive Displacement pumps in accordance to the market needs in accordance to the project's scope.
He/She will be responsible for the complete design phase of new products aligned with the latest applicable standards(ISO, API, ATEX, Machinery Directive)from the development of concepts up to the release for production. The enhancement and maintenance of the existing products will be part of this role as well as the continuous support to the other company’s functions, in particular production and commercial engineering, e.g. provide active support in analyzing and solving NCR’s and customer complaints.
To succeed in this role you should have Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, proven capabilities in handling mechanical calculations and high level of expertise using 3D CAD design tools (AUTODESK INVENTOR and VAULT) Knowledge of metallurgy, machining and casting processes is a must, as well as ability to communicate in English fluently on all levels within the organisation. Experience with Centrifugal and Positive Displacement pumps is preferred.
