THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Kent United Kingdom.
Our client is an internationally active breeding organisation. the company has Breeding Programs on a vast amount of plants. Looking to improve quality of the end-product our client is looking for an excellent candidate to strengthen the development of the products for the goal of commercialization.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This role brings along a strong collaboration with the R&D and commercial teams of the company. You will be the intermediary between these two departments to help reach the overall strategy of the company - successful commercialization of the products of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborating with farmers; farm trials to see results and improve processes and production;
- Drafting reports on yield of the growers to confirm production, quality and plant pathology;
- Implementing innovative research techniques and processes.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least a BSc, preferably a MSc, in a plant sciences related field with at least 5 years experience in the industry;
- Knowledge of plant pathology and fertilization;
- Speak the English language in combination with good social skills, i.e. good communicator and manager.
