As a Data Engineer, you will be working with our Business Intelligence Team to maintain and develop the data warehouse. You will be responsible to build scripts, tools, infrastructure, frameworks, and services to ensure the data warehouse captures data in a comprehensive and timely manner and that ongoing improvement, enhancements and changes to the product are reflected in the data warehouse. You will also work with our Business Analysts to add meta-data layers to improve and enhance reporting and analytics practices.

Product Development Manager - Personalised Video Technology

Pitney Bowes is looking to recruit a Product Development Manager to lead the Interactive Personalised Video technology (EngageOne® Video) product development team at our Poland Innovation Centre in Bielsko-Biala. Our EngageOne® Video solution is the core platform for the fastest growing product line in a Fortune 500 company.

The Product Development Manager will lead a high-performing, cross-functional team delivering enterprise-class video software solutions. Reporting to the Technology Director EMEA, the Product Development Manager will have full responsibility of his/her team in Poland, providing detailed engineering leadership and agile coaching for multiple Scrum teams of highly skilled engineers. The Product Development Manager role is responsible for leading, evaluating and mentoring engineers producing innovative video software solutions.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in a leadership position such as an Engineering Manager, Coach or Team Lead with agile software development teams
  • Previous experience of managing complex solutions deployed both as SaaS using AWS and On-Prem
  • Ability to work with high-performing teams and challenge them to continuously improve
  • Motivated by working in a continuously changing environment and enjoy helping shape a growing team\
  • Able to mentor and provide individual development guidance
  • Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate with a global team and help teams to work productively in a distributed environment

 

Preferred Technical Experience

  • Previous experience in architecting and building web applications using our technology stack – LAMP/JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3
  • Appreciation of managing open source libraries and components
  • Previous experience in mentoring others in the use of mature development practices (e.g. unit TDD/BDD, continuous integration, release management, technical debt)
