Procurement Analyst
Location: WrocławMain objective of role
- The Procurement Analyst oversees the correctness of setup and functioning of various Procurement Platforms, monitors system performance, and acts as primary point of contact for issue resolution
- The Procurement Analyst exercises judgment and draws on in-depth knowledge of systems, platforms and processes, in alignment with the Global Procurement process design. On an ongoing basis, the Procurement Analyst monitors, analyses and synthetizes system and process performance metrics, as well as identifies opportunities for improvement
- The Procurement Analyst interfaces with a wide range of internal customers in the course of performing system and process analyses. The sphere of influence can extend to peers, team members, BD sites, corporate functions and key stakeholders to gather information to support business cases for categories and procurement processes
- The Procurement Analyst is accountable for delivering accurate data in a timely manner to support key business decisions that can affect BD financial performance and operational effectiveness
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business management or related field is required
- A minimum of two years of business experience required
- Knowledge of purchasing principles and practices would be useful
- IT systems including the Microsoft Office Suite, an ERP system and internet search engines
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively for a wide range of internal customers under tight deadlines
