Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.

Multinational player with strong focus in process optimization.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a temporary role of 1 year on payroll basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Process Improvement Lead is part of the Warehouse and Distribution team and is responsible for ensuring improvement initiatives related to the supply chain are implemented in a timely fashion.
Initiatives can be small, self-initiated process improvements purely focused on Warehouse and Distribution. In that case the Process Improvement Lead will act as the project manager and implementer of these initiatives. A pro-active and hands on approach is needed for this.
Improvement initiatives can also be related to bigger cross-departmental projects in which the Process Improvement Lead will represent the Warehouse and Distribution Department or will lead the specific Warehouse and Distribution related work-stream.

The Process Improvement Lead will need to work with cross-functional stakeholders (Supply Chain Planning, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, etc) to develop a detailed understanding of the needs and to drive improvements. At the same time the Process Improvement Lead must maintain close relationship with the shop floor to harvest ideas and obtain buy-in for changes. The role includes embedding the improvements in the organisations' way of working by revising or creating written procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

- Has a Master’s degree or equivalent, with 1-3 years professional experience
- Has strong communication skills and can liaise with different levels within the organization.
- Is proficient in English and Dutch, both in oral and written communication
- Has strong analytical skills, and is preferably proficient with excel
- Is result driven and can work in a highly regulated environment

Advanced project management skills are not required for this role. The candidate however should be eager to learn and is organized. In house on the job training will be provided for job execution.
